Almanor Club Course
The Club course is 2919 yards long and is 9 holes long. For 18 holes you play the white tees the first time around and the blue tees for the back nine.

#1. The first hole is a par five dogleg right. An accurate drive is requried as there are trees on the left and OB on the right. The green is guarded on the left by a small bunker and on the right by a large tree.

#2. The second hole is a short part 4. Again tee shot accuray is at a premium with trees on the left and right and OB to the right. The green is guarded on the right by a small bunker and by trees.

#3  This is probably the tightest hole on the course. Agin trees line the right and left of this short par 4. and a pair of fairway bunkers narrow the landing area considerably. A poorly positioned tee shot can lead to a sure bogey as a large tree guards the left of the green.

#4. The fourth hole is a longer par 3 about 200 yards, with a trap to the left and trees and OB to the right.

#5. The 5th whole runs parallel to Lassen View road. There are two large pine trees forcing you to keep the tee shot down the middle. The green is nestled in the pine trees and is guarded on the right by a large tree.

#6 The sixth is another longish par three, about 220 uphill. The fairway falls steeply off to the right of the green.

#7. The seventh hole is a par 5 that places like a long par four for the big hitter. Its 474 yards from the white tees, downhill all the way. It is possible to drive the ball onto a very steep downslope leaving you with a challenging second shot down the hill. A decent drive and a middle iron played well from the downslope will get you on in two.

#8. A short par 3 around 130 yards. Hit it on the green.

#9. The ninth hole is the reverse of the 7th. Its all uphill. you tee shot should split the trees in the center of the fairway. OB is to the right and trees are to the left so accuracy again is premium. The final approach is uphill to a small green that slopes toward the player.
